Terms of Use

1. Who you are agreeing with

My Human Code (the App) is an interactive self-reflection tool and a contemplative game owned and operated by The White Owl LLC ("Company", "we", "us"), a Delaware limited liability company. The App was previously published as MindFlow; these terms apply under both names. By downloading, accessing or using the App or the website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These terms sit alongside Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement and Google Play's terms, which apply to every app bought from those stores. Where they disagree about your licence to use the software itself, the store's agreement governs.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
• You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

3. What the App is, and what it is not

The App offers AI-generated prompts and reflections on your dreams and thoughts, mood tracking, meditations, sleep content, a personal routine, and Reveal your code, a game that presents material from the Gene Keys, a system of self-reflection created by Richard Rudd.

It is not advice. Nothing in the App is therapy, counselling, or medical, psychological, legal, financial or professional advice of any kind, and nothing in it predicts the future. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment, or a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you are struggling, please talk to someone qualified to help. You are responsible for the decisions you make in your own life.

4. Psychological risk disclaimer

• Some users may experience strong emotional reactions when reflecting on their thoughts, dreams or profile.
• If you have a history of anxiety, depression, PTSD or any mental health condition, consult a licensed professional before using the App.
• If you feel distressed while using the App, stop and seek support. In a crisis, call emergency services or a mental health hotline in your area. The App is not a crisis intervention tool.

You acknowledge that you use the App at your own risk.

5. AI-generated content

Reflections, conversations and summaries in the App are generated by AI. They are not reviewed by a human and may contain inaccurate, misleading or inappropriate content. Apply your own judgment. AI responses are not factual or authoritative.

6. Your birth details and your profile

The game asks for your date, time and place of birth to calculate your profile. What happens to that information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Your profile is only as accurate as what you enter; a wrong birth time produces a different profile, and that is arithmetic rather than a fault in the App.

7. The content is not ours to give away

The written Gene Keys material, the archetypes and the recorded stories are the property of Gene Keys Ltd and are used under licence. The game, its artwork, music, characters and code, and the App's own text and design are ours or our suppliers'. You may enjoy all of it for your own personal use. You may not copy, republish, record, redistribute, sell or make derivative works from any of it, and you may not extract content from the App or reverse engineer it, except where the law says you may. Quoting a short passage when talking about the App is fine.

8. Your content

You own what you write in the App. You grant us the licence needed to store it, process it with our AI providers, and show it back to you. See the Privacy Policy for how it is kept and deleted.

9. Subscriptions, gifts and payments

A. Auto-renewing subscriptions

Premium is available as monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The title, length and price are shown in the App at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancellation is managed in your Apple ID or Google account settings; we cannot process cancellations directly. Refunds, where available, are issued by Apple or Google under their policies. Subscriptions bought when the App was called MindFlow continue unchanged.

B. Gifts

Premium may be purchased as a one-time gift for 1 month, 3 months or 1 year. Gifts are not subscriptions and do not renew. The purchaser does not receive Premium from a gift purchase; Premium is granted only to the person who activates it. The buyer receives a unique activation link to share; the recipient activates it on the web by signing in with their account. The gifted period begins on activation, is non-extendable and non-transferable. Unactivated links may be refundable through Apple or Google within their windows; once activated, the purchase is non-refundable. Whoever first activates a link receives the gift; the purchaser is responsible for sharing it securely.

C. Payment processing

All payments are processed by Apple or Google under their terms. We do not collect or store payment card details.

10. Availability

The App relies on an internet connection for most features. The game calculates your profile online and then works offline. We will try to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available, and we may change or withdraw features. If we ever shut the service down for good we will give reasonable notice through the App or the store page.

11. Therapist portal

Therapists admitted to our pilot may use a web portal to view the activity of clients who have explicitly consented to be linked with them. Therapists must hold and maintain an appropriate licence, use the portal only for the care of the linked client, keep what they see confidential, and remain solely responsible for their clinical judgment. We may suspend a therapist account at any time. Links can be revoked by either party by writing to us.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The White Owl LLC and its owners, officers, employees and affiliates are not liable for any emotional distress or mental health outcomes arising from use of the App, for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated or contemplative content, for indirect or consequential loss, or for inaccuracies or omissions in the App. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, you keep every right your local law gives you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The White Owl LLC, its owners, officers, employees and affiliates from claims, damages or liabilities arising from your use of the App or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Governing law and arbitration

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Delaware under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, and you waive the right to participate in class actions, except where your local consumer law does not allow such a waiver, in which case you may bring proceedings where you live.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date at the top will change, and material changes will be announced in the App. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
